TheNeverEndingStory is a unique new online facility that for the first time allows Internet users from anywhere in the world to read, and importantly contribute to, a range of constantly evolving ongoing online publications including stories and poems started by well-known authors and personalities.
The site also uniquely allows site members to start and manage their own stories and poems online, and add to these themselves or invite contributions (submissions) from selected members or the whole global TheNeverEndingStory membership base.
It is the aim of TheNeverEndingStory to publish the best stories and poems created on the site as actual books, acknowledging inside them every site member who has contributed a page or verse!
As well as the many stories and poems which you can read and add to, TheNeverEndingStory site also features a forum for you to 'talk' to other site members and includes the revolutionary Review Club which allows you to have your unpublished book reviewed by reading groups with a view to having it published by us.
The concept for TheNeverEndingStory came from Arup Biswas, a former UK newspaper reporter and national press officer for one of the country's largest charities. An avid book reader, and sometime struggling writer himself, Arup wanted to create a dedicated story writing website where story and book lovers like him could, for the first time, read constantly evolving original stories on a daily basis and have the chance to add to them themselves, thus influencing the storyline and plots.
The first TheNeverEndingStory site was launched on 2nd April 2006 but it soon became clear that major improvements could be made and unique new features for aspiring writers and story lovers could be introduced. Hence in February 2007, version 2 of TheNeverEndingStory site was launched with invaluable support from key new business associates.
